When I started this company, I did not start it simply to sell tea. I started it because I had spent years working across Africa and internationally and saw something that stayed with me: women working endlessly, producing incredible products, yet often remaining invisible in the value chain.

Tea became a way to build something different.

Behind every Comptoir BantuDesi tea, there are women farmers, ancestral knowledge, careful harvesting, and traditions that have existed for generations in Africa and India. Our teas are single origin, carefully selected, and produced with respect for the people and the land. Intentional, organic teas for our tea lovers community. 

Bringing Comptoir BantuDesi to New York is not just about opening a new market.

It is about bringing these stories, these women, and these traditions into one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
